COURSE DESCRIPTION: This discussion-centered course will examine some of the fundamentals of clear thinking and ethics. Each week will focus on a particular behavior associated with thinking clearly: 

  • Value Truth 
  • Be inquisitive 
  • Understand, You will Be Wrong 
  • Identify good reasoning 
  • Struggle with ethical problems 

These topics are interesting and challenging to consider. We will examine each as a group and practice the skills in class. The class will meet for 5 weeks, 2 hours each class. 

INSTRUCTOR BIO: Bill has a degree in English from Brown and a Masters in Adult education from USM. He has taught Critical Thinking and Ethics for many years.
